About Us

King's Homestay Institute was founded by Larry Nardi and his wife, Cindy For over 15 years they've hosted international students and found host families for hundreds of students studying in Silicon Valley's private schools. Prior to founding KHI, Larry spent over 28 years in private education, as a teacher, athletic director, and administrator at Valley Christian School.

Thanks to this deep connection to the school community, KHI's pool of over 1,000 families is largely made up of teachers, administrators, and professionals who care about promoting cultural exchange.

Like the founders, these hosts place a high value on education. KHI has become known for its positive values and commitment to youth. All of our hosts offer Homestay with a Heart. It's more than just a place to live, it's a connection that lasts a lifetime.
